Heather Furman
As Executive Creative Director, Heather both leads the office’s creative endeavours while maintaining comprehensive relationships with a roster of clients. Her extensive experience in developing, deploying, and managing in-depth brand and communication strategies embody and express the core purpose and mission of the clients she serves.
She has worked with pharmaceutical and biotech corporations, luxury fashion designers, art institutions, universities, non-profit organizations, hospital and health care entities, and financial businesses to create a broad range of strategies across multiple media outputs.
Heather received her BFA with honors in Graphic Design from the Maryland Institute College of Art. She has received several design awards from the Connecticut Art Director Club, Graphic Design USA and the Advertising Club.
She has been awarded an American Graphic Design Award, Two First Prize awards from the Museum Publications Design Competition, and has work appearing in Ellen Lupton’s Book “Thinking with Type, a Critical Guide.” When Heather is not spending time with her family (or her work family!), you can bet she’s doing something related to volleyball – playing it, watching it, thinking about it, or giving back to the sport. She is an active amateur competitor of both beach and indoor volleyball, and she serves on the Board of Directors of the International Volleyball Hall of Fame, in Holyoke Massachusetts.
