EcoHealthAlliance Annual Event, Backed by the Support of Nancye Green, is a Success
On April 29, EcoHealth Alliance, whose board of directors is chaired by Donovan/Green’s Nancye Green, held its annual event—a great success by all measures. Historically, this has been a festive occasion bringing together friends, family, and colleagues to celebrate community, share work, and raise important unrestricted funds. Since the onset of the pandemic, this event has been held virtually and therefore has enabled the organization to entertain a more geographically diverse audience as well as its close loyal following.
This year, EHA set an unprecedented stretch fundraising goal and had its most successful event in the history of the organization. Prior to the public portion of the night, 175 VIP guests were invited to spend time with EHA scientists, providing a unique opportunity for interaction and engagement. This session was deeply informative as it provided access to those who work globally and offered insight into what they do and how they do it.
The main program, which was free to all, shared deeper insights into EHA’s work and its impact, while showcasing the enormous contribution EHA is making as it provides field research to support therapeutic innovation. The evening provided attendees with a better understanding of what it takes to keep the world safe from pandemics, while also highlighting the role EHA can and will play moving forward. From the field to the pharmacy, EHA contributes to the advancement of the science which can help prevent the global toll on humanity that we have experienced with COVID-19.
