Donovan/Green is Proud to Announce That Nancye Green Has Been Elected to Serve as Board Chair of EcoHealth Alliance
Donovan/Green is proud to announce that Nancye Green has been elected to serve as board chair of EcoHealth Alliance (EHA), an international nonprofit dedicated to protecting the health of people, animals, and the environment from emerging infectious diseases. With its network of global alliances employing an evidence-based, scientific approach, EHA is committed to preventing pandemics by discovering their origins through field work and partnering with governments, scientists, and local communities to institute public health practices and policies to prevent disease and its spread. Viruses often emerge in countries far from the US, but pandemic prevention demands a global effort. EHA’s model, which builds local capacity while advancing scientific leadership in discovery and prevention, is a strategy for both mitigation and success. Nancye has been on the EHA board since 2006, and is honored to take on a leadership role at an important time in the organization’s growth and the world’s need for its scientific capabilities and systemic approaches to pandemic prevention.
