The MeasureD website aggregates case studies that provide insight into designing for social change and delivers this dense content in an easily accessible and understandable user experience.
The gathering of these examples was led by Cheryl Heller and made possible by a grant from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation. The site serves as a resource for anyone wanting to understand, measure, and scale the impact of social design in order to create the conditions for equitable human health.
Donovan/Green was brought onto the project to design and develop the website, and to devise a way to present the research in a form that could be useful to a wide audience of users. We took a comprehensive approach to understanding the cases, what each entailed, and how best to capture them in a simple summarizing graphic with an intuitive content navigation system. The site, launched in early 2020, was designed to update case studies dynamically and to continually add research and resources.
