Lipton, one of the largest producers of tea in the world, decided to extend its brand with a retail format, perceiving the opportunity to appeal to a younger and broader audience of tea lovers.
Donovan/Green created the Lipton Teahouse concept for a 200-shop nationwide chain. Creating the concept, naming, development of the identity program and architectural design, all aspects of the customer experience were carefully conceived.
The environment was designed to be warm and attractive, reflecting the green of the tea plant and the amber hues of brewed tea. The Lipton Teahouse combines an inviting ambience with intriguing tea lore to evoke a new image of Lipton in customers’ minds.
